Our objectives are to develop and enhance the facilities in the Village Hall for the use of the communities in Pyrford and Woking.
We offer for hire:-
A large hall with a sprung wooden floor, wall bars, a stage, changing rooms and a large fitted kitchen.
A large committee room – Ample free parking
The Pyrford War Memorial Hall offers for hire the following facilities:
A large hall with a sprung wooden floor and wall bars, a stage, changing rooms and a large fitted kitchen. The capacity of the hall is estimated at 150 people seated or 100 if seated at tables. Tables and Chairs are all inclusive in the Hire Charge.
A large committee room with an estimated capacity of 50 people seated or 30 if seated at tables. Tables and Chairs are all inclusive in the Hire Charge.
Ample free parking on site is available.

Can I hire the hall by the hour?
You can hire by the hour (or divisions of 30 minutes).
How many parking spaces are there?
Over 60.
Can I run my own bar?
In order to comply with the licensing laws the rules are: – If you wish to give alcohol away that is fine. If you wish to have a bar to sell alcohol on your behalf then you will have to obtain a Temporary Entertainment Notice (TEN) from Woking Borough Council.
How many tables and chairs are there?
We have over 100 chairs and ~ 20 oblong tables which seat 6 to 8 people.
What size are the halls?
The main hall is 60 feet by 34 feet, The committee room is 40 feet by 20 feet.
What facilities does the kitchen have?
We have-
- 7 gas burner double electric oven
- Microwave
- Small fridge/freezer.
- There is also an instant access hot water boiler that can provide up to 90 cups.
How many people does the hall accommodate?
For an evening function we recommend between 150 and 200.We have a fire limit of 250 people which is for a concert or meeting layout for chairs.
Do you have a stage?
Yes we have a stage with curtains – see the photograph.
Can I have a bouncy castle?
Yes if you provide a means of protecting the hardwood floor underneath.
How much deposit do I have to pay?
You have to pay a non returnable deposit of £100, in the event of damage.
If I have to cancel, will I get my money back?
If you cancel up to 14 days before the event we will refund the hire fee.
What is the latest time I can hire the hall?
23.30 is our latest booking to allow you to clear the hall and vacate the building by 24.00.
